There is a small scratch (idiot mark) under the slide release which can happen if you are not careful during assembly. I did not touch it up with a blue pen, but you can if it bothers you. The pistol has a rich, glossy, dark bluing finish. It preforms flawlessly and would be a great addition to anyone's collection. It comes with one stainless magazine, one blued magazine and the Kimber plastic case. The S/N is K164459 and it is made in Yonkers, NY. This one has the external extractor and I have never had any problems with it. This pistol has about 500 rounds through it. A great deal on a quality Kimber pistol.
