Rossi .38 Special 885 Stainless 2 in Square Butt Interarms 1980s VG-Exc Guns > Pistols > Rossi Revolvers

Here is the Rossi 88 variant in its finest form, the Model 885 imported by Interarms in the middle to late 1980s, after the company achieved enough sophistication to put full lugs on the snubs. This is the 2 inch .38 Special Rossi, all stainless steel, with Brazilian Goncalo Grips. Note the fully traditional satin stainless wide hammer and trigger and pinned barrel construction on a square butt grip frame. This particular specimen served the people of Adamsville and McNairy County, Tennessee, as an off-duty weapon for one of APD’s late officers. It has small scuffs and scours here and there, none of which damage the revolver’s aesthetic appeal. Note that there are two tiny etchy pits on the external surface of one of the cylinders. There is some dulling to the grips, mostly on the butt end, and some runny effect on the rear side of the left panel. That part may be original to the revolver. We rate this revolver as about 90 percent finishwise, but the photos should suffice for interested parties to judge finish grade for themselves. Bore and cylinder chambers are clean, bright and excellent. Double action trigger pull is above average for smoothness, and the hammer travels an additional 10 degrees after the cylinder times into place on double action. On single action, the hammer travels a full 25-30 degrees after the cylinder times, and the single action trigger pull is a stiff but crisp 4 ¼ pounds. Blast effect to the frame topstrap underside above the forcing cone is minimal, so this revolver has not been fired very much, and certainly not with a lot of +P ammo. Own this classic, classy little Rossi 885 for only $ 289.95

S&W, Colt Stainless Very Good. We even like RG, H&R, Taurus, Rossi Revolvers. Gold, Silver good, esp. Morgan Dollars and Walking Liberty Half Dollars. We like .243 and .30-30 very much. Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
