Back in the 1970s, in the heyday of bright blue and walnut classic rifles, the Torel genuine leather sling was definitive. Few of us knew back then that Bianchi even made rifle slings, and the Torels outclassed the Bianchis. Here is a late 1970s or early 1980s hand painted all leather Torel Mule Deer Sling, their most popular model. Both the Torel and a Bianchi #5BHL holster sold for $25 to $30 apiece back then. This specimen is in Excellent condition. It has only one or two minimal scuffs, with faint wrinkling to its padded area's edges, and wrinkling on its tail piece's underside between the Chicago screw and the fold-over.
