Description: A nearly new condition Sako Forester Deluxe in .243 caliber with a Redfield (Denver, Colorado) 4 to 12 power scope with parallax adjustment. This deluxe pre Garcia rifle has much nicer wood figure, checkering, stock and inlay than the standard version. Rings are origional Sako's made in Finland.

Rifling is strong and bore is mirror. Action is what you would expect of a Sako.

I date this rifle to 1969 or 1970 manufacture. No longer made.

Sako was the first rifle maker to make different size rifle actions to match the round. This rifle is based on the medium action designed for the .243 and .308

Fast handling and light with a Monte Carlo cheek piece for fast target acquisition. Perfect for stalking or long range shooting.
