D.H. Hilliard .36 caliber percussion target rifle made in Cornish, New Hampshire. D.H. Hilliard and his son George were gun makers in Cornish, New Hampshire from 1842 to 1877. They manufactured pistols, rifles, and shotguns. This is an extremely nice example of the great quality product that the Hilliard's made. With a 26.25 inch rifled barrel, this very nice under hammer percussion rifle still has the original ramrod, and bullet starter/aligner. A great piece of American Gun history.
