It twists apart quickly and locks back together firm and solid. This rifle will provide you the quality and accuracy you expect from Ruger. The barrel is hammer forged with a 1:16 twist and a flash suppressor. It has a gold bead front sight and the rear sight is adjustable. The receiver provides tip off bases and the rifle comes with weaver bases giving you multiple options to add optics. The rifle is engineered to maintain its sight accuracy and the zero of its optics as it's taken down and put back together. Taken apart it fits nicely in its backpack style carry bag with Ruger logo.
