Ruger .357 Mag GP-100 SS 6 in KGP-161 Exc in Box 2003 Guns > Pistols > Ruger Double Action Revolver > Redhawk Type
Description: This Stainless 6 inch Ruger GP-100 has its fired brass envelope dated from November of 2003. It is in its original box with instruction manual and massive factory Padlock, and it is in excellent condition. This is a locally owned revolver that we sold new, and its owner fired it fewer than 500 rounds, mostly with light load .38 Specials. We cleaned some lead residue from the cylinder from the .38 loads. Surface detractions are minimal, faint rotation marking and an occasional small buffed spot, but we classify it as Excellent since 95 percent or more of its original finish is intact by our estimate. Photos, at any rate, should suffice for prospective owners to judge finish grade for themselves. Grips are replacement Hogue pebble texture finger groove combat type. This KGP-161 Ruger is excellent mechanically as well. Bore, cylinder chambers, and mechanism are all bright, clean, and excellent. Blast effect to the under side of the frame top strap directly above the barrel's forcing cone is negligible, only carbon residue with no etching or cutting whatsoever. This Ruger has fired fewer than 50 rounds of Magnum Ammunition, and nobody's magnum ammo ever hurt a Ruger anyway. Double action trigger pull is tight but consistent, and the hammer travels an additional 10 to 15 degrees in all six positions on double action after the cylinder times into place. On single action, the hammer travels a full 25 to 30 degrees on all six after timing, and the single action trigger pull is a crisp original 4 3/4 pounds with no felt creep. The Ruger GP-100 has always been a top quality performer for us. This is Ruger’s answer to the Smith & Wesson 686 and, of course, the definitive Colt Python. Ruger has its advantages for ruggedness and it will ignite anybody’s primer. Factory specs are: traditional double- and single-action revolver with transfer bar internal safety device; caliber .38 Special and .357 Magnum interchangeably; barrel length 6 inch full lug heavy barrel; spring loaded ramp front sight with white outline adjustable rear sight; satin stainless steel construction and finish; .350 smooth faced combat trigger and .300 serrated spur service hammer; weight empty 45 ounces; one piece factory Hogue Monogrip. We are personally partial to the revolvers from Springfield, Massachusetts. But we respect these Rugers, they deserve it. And most important to us, we believe they are underpriced on today’s market. Own the Ruger GP-100 Stainless Six Inch, Ruger catalog # 01707 in the photo, for only $ 489.95. Not transferable to civilians in Chicago

Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony. GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
