1873 Winchester made 1884, 44-40. Nice bore, clear distinct rifling mixed with blackpowder pitting. Metal is a dark aged patina. Smooth action, feeds and ejects properly. Has a light trigger and sometimes when cocked fast the hammer drops to half cock. Nice solid wood, buttstock is a shotgun butt, looks good but is not original to this gun (fits solidly, but is a little too high around the tang). All markings readable. Nothing fancy, but a good example of a Frontier Winchester. Buyer must be over 21 years and legal in his state. Email me for lots more pictures.
