If you are a collector or just want to own arguably the most accurate, optimally ergonomic, and durable 380ACP ever made, you cannot pass this one up. I purchased this pistol new in the box in the early 90's from an FFL dealer, and I've been the only owner since that time. I have the original box, manual, factory test target, and the two factory mags that originally came with it along with an additional factory mag. All 3 mags are stainless steel and are in excellent condition. The slide, frame, grips, and mags have minor wear in the form of small nicks, indentions, and abrasion blemishes from normal operation, holster wear, and carry. The most notable is a series of three small nicks on the right side grip panel and two small indentions on the left grip panel all due to carry. A grand total of 300 rounds have been fired through it over the years leaving thousands more possible due to the reputation these pistols have for a long service life. The frame, slide, and barrel are constructed entirely of stainless steel. The accompanying box does have some scuff marks on it but is overall in great shape with the original factory sticker and bar code on the side.

Also included is a used high quality brown leather Galco paddle holster [closed end with thumb-break]. A comparable holster alone would cost well over $70.00 new. The holster has minor wear marks but is fully functional and is very convenient to get off and on.
The date code for this pistol is KC which means it was manufactured in 1992. According to the date code, this pistol was manufactured after the Berlin Wall fell allowing for the reunification of East and West Germany. The P230-SL is the predecessor of the Sig 232 [current production]. The P230-SL was manufactured in West German sector and therefore has a slide stamp of "MADE IN W.GERMANY". A new P232 will cost you somewhere in the ballpark of $900.00 and only comes with one extra mag. By the time you buy a 232, a quality holster such as the Galco holster that comes with this listing, an extra mag ($35.00-$40.00) you will be well over $1000.00 and it still won't be the highly sought after West German Sig P230-SL.
