This revolver comes from the collection of one of our distinguished Navy Veterans who completed his career in Panama City, Florida, that year and bought the little H&R new. It is the best made no-frills variant of all the H&R Pocket Revolvers, the 9 Shot .22 Long Rifle, swing out cylinder, double and single action with spurred serrated hammer and smooth combat trigger. All parts are brushed matte chrome plated, and the only wear that this fine little revolver shows is very faint cylinder rotation marking. From our knowledge of its owner and from its condition, we estimate it has been fired fewer than 50 rounds. It is Excellent throughout, finishwise and mechanically, and the photos will bear that out. Construction is entirely steel, U.S. Made, and weight empty is 21 ounces. Barrel length is 2 1/2 inches, 9 shot cylinder capacity, traditional double- and single-action revolver with transfer bar internal safety device and floating firing pin.
