The wood has normal wear and has a very good wood to metal fit , no cracks . Has an original 40” Rd barrel with original sights, 3 flat barrel bands, Sling Swivels, Original Ramrod with swell, and markings VP Eagle head and 1860 date at the breech. Has a US marked buttplate and Iron patchbox. The Lockplate is Dated 1860 to the rear of the plate and The original Maynard primer door with strong eagle marking. Also US Springfield marked on the front of the plate. Metal overall has has an aged grey freckled finish with fine pitting in areas .
