The following is a Winchester model 94 NRA Centennial edition .30-30 Musket model. This rifle has a 26inch round barrel and a stock that runs almost the full length of the barrel concealing the magazine. The receiver is engraved NRA 1871-1971 on the left side and with some scroll on the right. It is also stamped NRA Centennial Musket on the right side of the barrel. The stock is a very nice dark hardwood with an NRA medallion set into the right side of the butt stock.
Now the sad part, this item was received in on trade. The original owner did not seem to understand that it is a bad idea to store firearms in a humid garage with no maintenance or care for several years. As is evident by the photos this item has light pitting (primarily on the receiver) and a few small dings near the edge of the stock near the butt plate. Surprisingly the bore as well as the outside of the barrel is virtually void of any pitting or rust. This item was professionally inspected and cleaned by my local gunshop and deemed mechanically sound and safe to shoot. Despite the light pitting on the receiver, this item was only fired by the original owner twice. From the lack of wear that is present on the loading ramp, I believe him. This gun deserves to be in a good home that will appreciate it. This is still a beautiful and rare rifle despite its condition!
