This listing is for the exact shotgun in the photos. From its home in a Florida importer's warehouse comes this special edition Charles Daly 12 gauge National Wild Turkey Federation Shotgun. Manufacturer was Akkar Silah Sanayi Ltd. of Istanbul, Republic of Turkey. Importer was Samco Global Arms, Inc. / SGAI of Miami, a company that bankrupted in 2015. From its 13 serial number prefix, it was manufactured in 2013. Action is double slide bar pump shotgun, Benelli Nova type. Construction is steel barrel, bolt, trigger, magazine assembly, levers, and internal parts, built into a light weight alloy receiver, with graphite based synthetic stock and forend; and with polymer trigger housing assembly. Chambering is 12 gauge, 2 3/4 inch, 3 inch, and even 3 1/2 inch shells interchangeably. Barrel is 24 inch with muzzle threaded for standard Rem-choke tubes. With the included XXF Super Full Tube, Barrel length is 24 3/4 inches. Bore is standard diameter, non back bored, and chrome lined. Tube furnished measures .6685 as diameter as far as our caliper will go. Barrel has 11 ports on either side of the rib's second post. Sight system is .275 width serrated top, 7 post ventilated rib, that sits .20 inch above the barrel at the lug. Front sight is conventional brass bead that mates with the serrated receiver top. Principal Sight Device, however, is the 11 Slot Picatinny Rail, along with our added FM Brand Red Dot / Green Dot Electronic Sight with B Square Weaver Rings. Magazine tube is 13 inch open end with spring retainer, holds 4 rounds of 2 3/4 inch or 3 rounds of 3 or 3 1/2 inch 12 gauge shells interchangeably. Operators of Italian shotguns and their clones often figure out how to rest a ghost round on the shell carrier. The .240 smooth faced trigger pulls single stage at 5 pounds vicinity with substantial felt creep but minimal overtravel. Safety is push button type, behind the trigger, set on right handed shooter, and gunsmith reversible. Forend is rounded front with corn cob type serrations. Buttstock is pistol grip Thug or Combat type with lateral serrations. Length of pull is 13 7/8 inches from the trigger face to the end of the 3/4 inch recoil pad. Stock drop is standard 1 1/2 at comb and 2 1/2 inches at the heel, but 1 7/8 by 2 7/8 to the rail bottom. Stock has a 3/4 inch right handed cant. Stock has checkered surface laterals on the pistol grip. Weight empty no scope is 6 pounds, 11 ounces, with center of gravity at the breech face. Finish is Realtree AP HD Camo, with dark oxide carrier and bolt, and with black polymer trigger assembly. NWTF lettering is inked on right side of receiver. Marking is electronically engraved on the barrel and inked on the receiver, with roll stamped serial number that usually affects the finish next to it. Surface detractions are negligible. We rate this Daly as Excellent in Box, 95 percent vicinity by our estimate, but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. Bore, chamber, threads, and mechanism are all bright and clean. We do not believe this shotgun was ever loaded or fired. It comes in its original box with protective papers, instruction manual, choke wrench, and sight packaging. Replacement pricing on charlesdaly com was over $500.
