This is one of the first One Hundred Thousand Garand rifles produced. The M1 Garand also includes a new, locking hard case. The stock and both hand guards are in very good condition with no import marks. The stock has the Eagle and Stars and Circle "P" Cartouche stamps. The metal parts are also in very good condition. The rifle cycles and ejects correctly and shoots as John Garand originally designed. The barrel is bright, shiny, smooth and has excellent rifling. Serial Number: 99XXX (First 100,000 produced) Barrel: SA 3-53 Trigger: Housing D28290-12-SA (C46025-1-SA) Hammer: 646008-6-SA Bolt: D28287-128A Receiver: D28291-3-SA Operating Rod: 7780722-SA The Throat Erosion (TE) is 3.25 (0 is perfect and 10 is....you don't want it.) Muzzle passes the bullet test and the (ME) is 2. The Garand has been field stripped and all metal parts have been cleaned with Hoppes #9 solvent and then a light coat of Hoppes oil applied. There is no rust anywhere on this rifle and there are no import marks. A qualified gunsmith is required to check all parts before firing this weapon. Use only ammunition as specified in the owners manual. Also included with the M1 Garand is a user's manual, one En Bloc clip (without ammunition) a yellow safety flag, and a new lockable hard case. The Garand is shipped in the hard case protected between two layers of foam padding and enclosed in a shipping box. I only ship to an FFL or C&R. My FFL will be included in the shipping container.
