The Case is an original double leather custom case, holding two (2) receiver stocks and four sets of barrels with four (4) forearms. Barrel lengths are 28 1/4" and (2 sets) and 28 3/8" (2 sets). 1 set of barrels are choked from improved to modified and the other set is choked full. The Barrels are Excelsior fluid steel barrels by Witten with mirror bores. Reliever is highly engraved and stock is straight English, offset for a right handed shooter. Trigger pull is standard. Condition is 90%, plus blue and finish except for recoil pads - red rubber is old and solidified). These shotguns were made by Nagel & Menz (Baden-Baden, Strassburg T/E Germany) in 1902 with the serial numbers 794 and 795. These guns were believed to be captured from the home of Field Marshall Rommel in Germany after and during the invasion of Germany in World War II.
