Here is Hogue's contribution to the ergonomics of the classic large frame Smith & Wesson Revolvers, and to their relatively new series of Night Guard N frame revolvers. For smaller handed shooters these are ideal even for 4 and 6 inch barrel Smith & Wessons. Hogue rubber Monogrips, the factory points out, are molded from a durable synthetic rubber that is not spongy or tacky, but gives that soft recoil-absorbing feel, without affecting accuracy. Photos show a set we got on trade where the owner of the 629 installed some of the Hogue Goncalo grips. The only surface detractions to these are some screwdriver stress to the screw. It is easy enough to get the Hogue Logo, factory number 25000 grips for N Rounds; these, however, are factory Smith & Wessons, not easy to come by.
