This is a British, WWI, Mark III brass Flare Pistol, (Signal Pistol). This particular pistol has a brass insert/cylinder, which I've been told by a reputable gun dealer, enables it to be able to shoot a 10-guage shell. As I am no expert, I will do my best to supply you with as much information as possible...Most of this information can actually be seen in the pictures I've provided: On the left side of the gun, underneath the barrel, is stamped ~WEBLEY & SCOTT Ltd., LONDON & BIRMINGHAM; underneath that are (4)PROOF MARKS which also appear on the barrel itself; On the right side of the gun is the WB LOGO proceeded by the Serial #66458. The gun itself is quite dirty with a lot of original patina; the original hardwood grip is cracked on one side; the trigger, hammer, release lever/screws & loop connected to the bottom of the grip do have rust. This is all of the information that I was provided with by the gun dealer...I apologize that I can't be of further assistance in regards to it's working order. Shipping will be calculated at the time of invoicing. PayPal or Postal Money Order will be acceptable payment methods and the item will be held until payment has cleared. I will ship with insurance using the most economical shipping method I can find. Please feel free to send me a message with any questions you may have and I will do my best to answer them for you.
