We are offering a preowned Remington 1903 A3 chambered in 30-06 for sale. This World War II era rifle is in excellent condition and has been professionally refinished. This is a very early production rifle with its serial number putting in late 1942 range. The 23 ½” barrel is beautiful and marked “RA, 5-43”. The muzzle is very nice with some minor wear. The bore is bright and shiny. The receiver appears to retain its original finish, retaining its olive like color. The bolt action works smoothly and properly. This particular rifle has been fit with a phenomenal redfield peep sight in excellent condition. The wood on this rifle is beautiful and has been refinished. The stock does not have any cartouche on the right hand side. There are no cracks or dents; there is some light handling wear. Rifle has original butt plate with storage door. Comes with nice leather sling.
