Here, from an old Southern Warehouse, are a few sets of Sile brand Italian Walnut Grips imported by that illustrious New York firm during the 1970s and 1980s. This listing, of course, is for one set of these fine grips; winning buyers, however, may take any number of additional sets at the same per-set price and with no additional shipping charges. Well before the days of speed shooting, when a marksman was not someone who slings a lot of lead, but someone who makes that crucial first shot count, Colt Factory Target grips were at a premium for well disciplined shooters, a carryover from training and practice for one-hand accurate shooting. These grips were marketed widely during the 1970s, and we sold a good many of them. They are period correct for the classic Colt Pythons and Official Police Revolvers, and very closely follow many of the factory Colt Grips issued with the Officers Model Rimfires of the 1960s and 1970s. These fine grips are made from satin finish semi-gloss Italian Walnut, close cut checkering and with original nickel plated screws. They are collectable in their own right. A few of them had original paperwork, marked Sile No. C, Fits: 38 Official Police / 22 Officer Model / 38 Officer Model / 22 Trooper / 38 Trooper / 38 Army Special. These grips have been stored a long, long time. Before they came South, they sat in Sile’s NYC Warehouse. Note the coloration will be slightly mismatched between the right and left panels. Note also faint toning spots on the nickel screws, and storage contact marring on their edges. We rate them all as Excellent, some of them Near Mint, 90 percent finishwise by our estimate. Speciments in the photos are from the same lot, and they are typical. We’re offering the grips in the photos, or a set of their identical mates, each set for only $ 49.00. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Grips, Magazines, slings, holsters, scopes, mounts, parts & most any small light items, entire accessory orders only $7.00 total shipping no matter how many a person buys. $7.00 for an entire order, Not $7.00 per item or anything of the sort. $10 Flat Fee on magazine orders to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico, and gun parts to PR civilians must ship to an FFL. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
