This ad features the pictured Revolutionary War ERA Flintlock Musket that has long ago been converted to percussion. This appears to be of Dutch origin. It has only a small partial marking on the lockplate. The stock has relief carving in many areas. The wood has a black layer that has partially worn away. There is missing barrel band / sling swivel about 10 inches back from the muzzle. The retaining spring has broken leaving just the slot. The bore measures about 75 caliber. The barrel measures 42 and 3/4 inches. The lock is in good working order. The wood is solid with no major cracks just the usual small stuff you would expect on a gun of this age. A close look at the pictures will show you all the details.
