Despite pronounced inflation since these were plentiful 2-3 years ago, here is still one of the best buys on the used gun market in the US nowadays, a well maintained West German Police sidearm. It comes in an original Sig blue box from the period with an extra magazine. Sig has, by the way, a downloadable English language instruction manuals on the Sig Arms dot com web page under Customer Service. The principal difference between the P6 and the US marketed P225 is the slotted-spur commander style hammer. Everything else is the same. This P6 is traditional double action; long smooth double action pull on the first shot, and classic non-creepy Sig-Sauer single action pull from the cocked position. This one’s single action pull measures a stiff but crisp 4 3/8 pounds. As the photos show, this Sig has Century Arms’s import stamp on the left side of the frame, and the date of manufacture on the forward right side of the slide. Surface detractions only amount to minimal faint whitening on the muzzle edges of the slide, with some faint whitening on the upper edges of the slide as well. Magazine floorplates show some contact wear, but the magazine bodies have strong original finish. We rate this one as Very Good, perhaps even Excellent, since 85 to 90 percent of its finish is intact by our estimate. Photos, however, should suffice for prospective owners to judge finish grade for themselves. This pistol is excellent mechanically. Firing evidence is only moderate as the photo of the barrel surface shows where the slide bushing has contacted the barrel. Note the similar light slide contact evidence on the chamber area surfaces at the back of the barrel. Bore and mechanism are clean and excellent. We test fired this pistol with 4 different varieties of 115 grain 9mm ammunition, 4 rounds each. It functioned flawlessly with Fiocchi XTP Hollowpoint, PMC Full Metal Case, and Remington Hollowpoint. It had one stovepipe jam with the S&B hollowpoint, probably from the S&B's rim and not from its bullet. This one is exceptional from its peers in feeding the XTP; all of the 12 identical test guns we fired liked the Remington hollowpoint. Specs on this Sig P6/P225 are: traditional double and single action with decocker; internal firing pin block safety that permits firing only with the trigger pulled all the way; weight empty 28 oz; 8 shot magazine capacity / 8+1 round capacity; barrel length 3 ¾ inches; drift-windage adjustable front and rear black matte sights; steel guide rod and Sig braided recoil spring. This fine Sig P-6 is historically significant for its service during the final decade of the Cold War in West Germany. Manufacture date on the slide is August of 1979, when the Somalis were fooling around trying to keep President Carter in a good humor. It is also eminently serviceable and attractive for its peerless German Sig manufacture. Own it for only $ 389.95 Not for sale to Massachusetts Destinations.

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
