Here is a revolver that was always one of our best sellers in the 1990s. We got our first Rossi 88 Stainless Revolvers in late 1992, and they were staples until Interarms collapsed in 1998. Manufacturer was Amadeo Rossi S.A. of Sao Leopoldo, Brazil. Importer was Mr. Sam Cummings at Interarms, #10 Prince Street, Alexandria, VA. Construction is entirely stainless steel metal. Type is double and single action revolver, with hammer nose firing pin and transfer bar internal safety device. The Rossi 88 is a direct descendant of the classic Smith & Wesson model 60, .38 Chief’s Special Stainless. Barrel is one piece, 2 inch six groove right hand 1:18.75 rifling, with full lug shroud that is pinned into the frame. Sights are barrel integral serrated blade front, with frame integral fixed notch rear sight. Cylinder is chambered for .38 Smith & Wesson Special caliber only, and capacity is 5 rounds. Trigger is .312 stainless serrated face, with matching .415 semi target short serrated spur hammer. Grips are original factory Rossi rubber finger groove combat. Weight empty is a well balanced 24 3/4 ounces, with center of gravity just forward of the thumb latch. Overall length is 7 inches; height is 5 inches, cylinder diameter is 1.315 inches; and grip thickness is 1.2 inches. Surface detractions on this 88 are minimal, only a few light streaks on its right side, with come contact wear and buffing to the right grip panel. We rate it as Excellent, 90 percent vicinity by our estimate, but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade by themselves. Double action trigger is smooth and consistent 11 pound vicinity; and the single action pull measures a crisp original 3 1/8 pounds with negligible felt creep and overtravel. Hammer travels an additional 5 to 10 degrees after the cylinder times on double action, and on single action the hammer travels fully 25 degrees after timing. Blast effect to the under side of the frame top strap directly above the barrel’s forcing cone is negligible, only a faint impress with no depth. Carbon and cylinder rotation marking are minimal. We do not believe this revolver has been fired more than 100 times, and that not with +P Ammunition. Cylinder face to forcing cone gap measures a perfectly fitted .007. From this revolver’s W286000 range serial number, it was manufactured in 1997. We probably sold it new; it is a local West Tennessee Revolver. We’re offering this well balanced, attractive Rossi .38 Special Smith & Wesson copy for only $ 289.00. Not transferable to civilian residents of California, District of Colombia, or Massachusetts.

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
