This is Rossi's 92 Octagonal Blue 20 inch Barrel fitted into a beautiful color casehardened receiver and chambered in the popular and powerful .44 Remington Magnum caliber. Rifling is 1:30 right hand twist. Photos show one of only three specimens we were able to get at a very attractive price due to politics between the current importer, Braztech, and the previous Importer, Legacy Arms. Import marks are from the latter, on the tang, behind the hammer. This variant of the 92 Rossi sports dark stained Brazilian hardwood stock and forend, with a casehardened, authentic steel buttplate like its higher grade ancestors. Receiver and forend cap are also casehardened. Overall length is a compact and correct 35 1/2 inches; and weight empty is a well balanced 6 1/2 pounds. The principal difference between this and the originals is only the bolt safety, placed unobtrusively forward of the hammer.
