The RG38 revolvers, manufactured in Germany and in Miami from the 1950s until the late 1970s, were not the most prestigious revolvers in the world, but they held up rather well. In about 1980, RG Industries changed its square butt grip frames to a rounder contour. Here is a set of genuine Jay Scott, U.S. Made imitation pearl grips manufactured some time, by our estimate, in the early 1970s. Scott factory number is 59, for the Rohm RG38 Square Butt Revolvers with true square butt grip frames. Your revolver’s serial number should be below about 180,000; and it should not have any suffixes or prefixes. These grips will not fit an RG38S, only the older model RG38. They will not fit an RG40 Revolver. They will not fit RG31 or 39 revolvers because those had round butt grip frames. Note the studs on the back side of these grips. The upper back strap side corner where the grip frame meets the main frame of the revolver should allow for 2.930 inches inside the grip frame’s forward interior butt edge corner. Any shoppers not clear as to whether your revolver is round butt or square butt, please see the attached comparative Smith & Wesson grip frame photo. Construction is laminate based for durability with the imitation pearl layer on top. This set is in new condition, except for the fact that the panels show some age yellowing. These grips laid on the shelves of one of our Mississippi FFL Dealer colleagues for over 30 years. They are in their original box, with original tissue paper, and even the original Jay Scott Armarc grip certificate of warranty with the Colt Firearms corporate blurb at the bottom. Colt owned Jay Scott at the time these were made. They are collectable in their own right, RG or no RG. We’re offering them for only $ 79.00. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Grips, Magazines, slings, holsters, scopes, mounts, parts & most any small light items, entire accessory orders only $10.00 total shipping no matter how many a person buys. $10.00 for an entire order, Not $10.00 per item or anything of the sort. $20 Flat Fee on magazine orders to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico, and gun parts to PR civilians must ship to an FFL. Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
