For auction is an original WW2 German combat rig including the belt w/buckle (Heer-Army), two 3-pocket ammo pouches, breadbag, canteen, gasmask, and bayonet. I have been seriously collecting WW2 collectibles for 25 years and am choosing to trim down the collection in pursuit of other interests. I have had this entire rig for over 12 years. The gasmask is marked and matched (mask to cannister) and is number marked to the soldier. The breadbag had mfg. or unit markings/date inside the flap, the canteen is dated. and the ammo pouches are maker marked/dated. Most of the dates are around 1937-1939. The bayonet is a 1938 E.u.F. Horster in a 1937 dated frog. The sheath does not match the number on the blade. This is an excellent complete combat rig which will nicely complement a tunic on display.
