Here is some excellent ammunition, and it functions well in any .308 caliber rifle. Manufacturer is Metallwerk Elisenhutte GmbH in Nassau, Germany, simply known as M.E.N., the headstamp abbreviation. M.E.N. supplies the German Federal Police, the German Army, and multiple Law Enforcement and Military Agencies. This is their standard load 7.62 NATO Round, known to us as .308 Winchester Caliber. Construction is brass case, NON-corrosive Berdan primers so non-reloadable; Projectile is DM-111 type 147 grain Nickel Plated Steel Shell / Lead Core bullet, and the nickel jacket ensures barrel longevity. M1A and M-14 owners, this ammunition is much less likely to cause a slam-fire than boxer primed cartridges. Factory specs on this round gives a muzzle velocity of 2805 feet per second from a 20 inch barreled G3 Rifle, with 2550 foot-pound range muzzle energy. Headstamp markings include the European cross, with MEN92K005. Factory numbers on the boxes, as the photos show, is AB 22 / 20 Patrone [cartridges] / 7.62mm x 51, DM111, Weichkern [soft core] / LOS [lot] MEN92K0005. This ammunition comes in thousand round cases, five each sealed rubber battle packs with 10 each 20 round boxes to the pack. Photos show the first battle pack that was ever opened from this shipment. Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
