Good example of a British SMLE No. 1 MKIII dated 1917 with a SN 1550. Medal parts have applied wartime black finish, with typical wartime wear. The hard wood is good and shows battle wear, dings, and scrapes common on wartime guns!My guns are estate guns and often need cleaning from long storage. A very rugged bolt action, with a 25" barrel and a good clean bore with sharp rifling, and fine pits down in the grooves , so common with military rifles from WWI that used corrosive ammo!Mag re-numbered, and this gun has an importer address!Forend screw missing. We don’t have a store, and sell on the internet only. We don’t have a web site. OUR DESCRIPTIONS ARE ACCURATE.THREE DAY INSPECTION ON ALL PURCHASES.

I am an estate dealer, and buy whole contents of homes, mostly gun smith's estates. Been doing this for 40 years. Never know what I'll find next.We look for the unusual, we don't buy new guns from wholesalers, and resell! !KEEP CHECKING MY INVENTORY. We don't do feedback this isn't EBAY! Thank you.
