This gun for your consideration is the extremely rare Colt Pony originally manufactured by F.I.E. for Colt. Colt in 1972 commissioned F.I.E. of Spain to produce a sample lot of approximately 100 guns. Before they could go into full production Colt scrapped the project and received approximately 100 guns from F.I.E. There were a number of them given to the employees who worked on the project and the remainder were sold to a North Carolina dealer. Colt's 1973 catalog announced the addition of the Pony to its product line, but it was never produced other than the original 100 samples. This example is New in the Box condition with the original box numbered to the gun. It is in .380 ACP caliber. It has a blued finish with checkered Walnut grips with Colt Medallions. It is all original and in unfired condition. The rarest Colt semiautomatic pistol. A super addition to your collection and great investment destined to increase in value.
