From a Louisiana Dealer liquidation comes this unfired never mounted factory Remington Barrel for standard 12 gauge 1100 shotguns. This barrel is specifically for hunting with 2 3/4 inch Rifled Slugs. Manufacturer is Remington Arms of Ilion, New York. Factory number is 26595. Construction is entirely blued steel. Barrel is 21 inches from chamber mouth to muzzle, with a factory cantilever attachment for optical devices. Scope rail is six slot Weaver or Picatinny type. Chambering is for 12 gauge, 2 3/4 inch shells only. It is Not designed for steel shot; steel shot will damage its rifling. Bore is 6 groove right hand 1:34 rifling. This barrel is designed for accuracy with rifled slugs in the 1700 feet per second vicinity. We do not detect any shelf wear or surface detractions. This barrel is in new condition, and it is under factory warranty, so we will not accept a return. Replacement pricing on this barrel in our area approaches $400.
