Description: Photos are representative, but buyer will receive a virtually identical pistol to the photo specimen, from the same import shipment. Here is a Cold War pistol from our former enemies. Production of Master Armorer Fedor Tokarev’s TT33 pistols moved from Tula Arsenal to Romania in 1952. Here is a TT-C pistol manufactured by the Cugir Arms Plant, S.C. Uzinele Mecanice Cugir S.A. of Cugir, Romania, in its First Year of Romanian Production on the original Russian milling equipment, 1952. It served in the Fortele Tereste Romane, the Romanian Army, until the mid 1990s. Type is hammer fired blowback action semi automatic pistol. Chambering is 7.62x25mm Tokarev, a round that produces magnum level muzzle velocity and superior penetration. Construction is entirely steel metal, with original military bakelite polymer grips. Barrel is 4 1/4 inch, with .499 outside diameter. Rifling is 4 groove right hand 1:10 twist rate. Slide system is Browning 1903 style, with bushing assembly and retractable guide and return spring assembly. Sights are slide integral blade front and dovetailed steel notched rear. Hammer is .300 round serrated spur, with .190 serrated face steel trigger. Photo specimen pulled two stage at 6 pounds, approximately 3/8 inch of travel, and with minimal felt creep. Safety is armory installed serrated lever, engages in cocked position only. The TT-C does not have a firing pin or hammer safety. Magazines are entirely steel construction, holds 8 rounds of 7.62x25 or .32 Tokarev ammunition, 8 + 1 total loaded capacity. Slide thickness is .825 at the port, with frame thickness of .685. Overall length is 7 5/8 inches, height is 5 1/8 inches from the magazine floorplate to the top of the rear sight. Grip thickness is 1.16 inches. Weight empty is 29 7/8 ounces, with center of gravity at the safety lever stud. Finish is blued steel; each pistol was arsenal refinished and had its lever safety installed at the Cugir Plant. Markings are original Cugir Proof, serial number, and year of production on the left side of the frame, matching serial number on top of the slide, production marking on the magazine floorplates, and importer marking on the forward left side of the slide as required by the 1968 Gun Control Act. Surface detractions are minimal to negligible, only faint lever serration whitening, faint residual pre-refinish spots on the magazine body surfaces, toning to the never blued hard steel barrel surfaces, and moderate surface wear to the grip panels. We rate them as Excellent, Factory Refinish. Holsters show moderate surface wear on their outside surface. Bores are clean, with only faintly etchy darkening in the rifling grooves, but no pronounced pitting. Each pistol comes in its factory box with original English language label, with 1970s issue leather army holster, cleaning rod, and total of two magazines. Instruction manuals are easily downloaded at centuryarms biz downloads. Original Soviet TT-33 Pistols command prices upwards of $2,000 apiece. We’re offering the 1952 Cold War Cugir TT-C in the photos, however, or one of its virtually identical mates, each for only $ 279.00. Transferable to California civilians due to Federal Curio & Relic Status. Not transferable to non C&R Civilians in Massachusetts. Any Ammunition or Personnel in photos are Not included. Add any number of 4 Box lots, total of 200 rounds, Prvi or S&B 85 gr FMC Brass Case Ammo, at only $24.75 per box, $99.00 freight paid lower 48 with gun purchase, while supplies last. No returns on ammunition. Add any number of new HFC TT33 / TTC magazines, only $16 each while supplies last. $15 handguns lower 48; $40 handguns Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico, USPS Priority Mail. Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
