Photos show specimens of a very limited batch of Steyr Factory magazines to fit the M9A1 or MA-1 Steyr Pistols chambered in 9mm caliber. Manufacturer is Steyr Mannlicher GmbH & Co KG of Steyr, Austria. Current Importer is Steyr Arms just to the south of us in Trussville, Alabama. Construction is bright blued serrated side steel, with stainless spring and high impact polymer floorplate and follower. These appear t to be Mec Gar manufacture, and that certainly indicates quality and reliability; each is marked, however, with the Steyr logo and the word Austria on its front side. A few specimens mixed in with this batch had Law Enforcement markings, manufactured prior to September of 2004. Replacement pricing on these magazines in our area, if a person can find one, is upwards of $60 apiece. Our single magazine price is $39 each.
