These rifles were manufactured between 1907 and 1922. The rifle will shoot 22 Short, 22 Long, and 22 Long Rifle ammunition. The barrel is 24" long with a blade front sight. The 20-A is a pump action takedown model. The bore is very bright with shallow rifling and no pitting. The top of the tang is marked MARLIN No2-A. The exterior of the rifle is pitted and worn. The rifle functions perfectly and would be a great first rifle for someone. The 9 ring forend is in good condition, but missing one screw and the buttstock is usable but worn. This rifle has an original rear peep sight. The peep sight is missing a spring and no longer locks into position. This is a great parts gun and all internal parts are in very good condition.
