Excellent looking and shooting .44 caliber, 1851 Navy revolver, tight and accurate, no dings in grip and blue is 99.9% (due to small marks). Has sleeved brass sight silver neatly soldered over the original sight and is a clean perfect job--no slop. Looks similar to the sight on Remington type C&B revolvers except is brass and not as tall. This puts the gun dead-on at pistol ranges and is very simply and cleanly removeable. Low temp 400 degree silver solder was used so can easily be removed if ever wanted. Original sight is fine and in place underneath. This revolver is very accurate. Action was also honed/smoothed and higher quality hammer spring installed before the gun was ever fired. Pietta hammer spring strength can vary greatly from the factory. The present one is perfect. The gun is accurate, looks and feels beautiful and has no mechanical flaws, or any corrosion/rust whatsoever and will pleasantly surprise you in function, good looks, etc. Included is original box, etc. in new shape and a beautiful, brand new Cabelas solid pine wood case with plush lining. Reason for selling is that I have two. Shipping will be based on your zip code and will require two boxes for the original pistol in its box, and another package for the wooden display case/box.
See ad regarding two boxes. You may or may not want the original gun box which will affect shipping cost.
