Since Marlin serialization seems to be going backward since the year 2000, we interpret the 94 prefix as a 2006 Manufacturing Date for this pristine 336W .30-30. This is the standard hardwood stocked variant of the 336 Marlin, 20 inch barrel and slightly below normal 13 3/8 inch length of pull. This Marlin's only surface detractions are two or three light scuffs near the rear sling swivel on the buttstock, one faint small streak on the right side of the receiver near the lever pivot area, and faint operation buffing on the bolt surface. The loading gate is not even streaked, so we are sure that it has not even been loaded 20 times, and probably fired fewer than 10 times. Scope is a mint Bushnell 3 x 9 x 32mm sitting atop Weaver Quad-Lock See-thru mounts. Replacement price on this setup in our area is upwards of $500.
