This S&W Model 38, originaly known as the Centennial Airweight, was made 1962. However, its blue finish and Factory walnut medalion checkered grip panells look as if it was made last year. There is no box or paperwork with this rarely cycled revolver and I suspect it spent most of its existance in a drawer. Even though this revolver is 46 years old it looks and functions as if it was made recently. Acollector's item(?) or will it finally go into service? Only the buyer knows. A fine pocket pistol or addition to your collection. You won't fine many new revolers in this good a condition. I challenge you to find one this well preserved since 1962 that has not been a display piece.
