So writes the factory. FN Winchester product code is 513012346, discontinued in 2003. This specimen’s date code is MZ, manufactured in 2001. Additional specs are: weight 7 lb 4 oz, OAL 45 in; Metal finish Blue Barrel and Receiver; stock is Grade II – III satin finished European Walnut with Fine Cut Checkering on the forend and pistol grip area; buttstock is quick pointing field type with 14-1/4 inch LOP with factory Pachmayr Decelerator pad; total of 2, Improved Cylinder and Modified, Browning Invector Plus Choke Tubes; vented side serrated .240 rib; traditional brass bead sight. This specimen comes to us from its original owner who barely used it. Surface detractions are negligible, only one or two tiny scours on the satin finished walnut forend, and tang whitening from operation of the safety and selector lever. We rate it as Excellent, since no more than 3 to 5 percent of its surfaces are affected. It is certainly excellent mechanically; bore, chambers, and mechanism are all bright, clean, and excellent.
