Remington-Rand made 877751 pistols for the US Army from 1942 through 1945, but based on the 913XXX serial number, this is a rare pre-1942 model. It appears to have seen little action, and has been in storage for decades. Proof and inspector marks match and are what they should be for the period, the bore is clean, and the pistol passes all function checks. There is holster wear, but it’s minor. There is some discoloration on the walnut grip where it rested against the brass holster snap. The only part I can’t verify as original is the spring-loaded recoil rod. This comes with three magazines and the leather holster. The bluing is certainly in excellent condition for the period.
