This listing is for One Pistol; FFLs and Police Departments, however, may take any number of additional M9 Steyrs at the same per-pistol price, and with no additional shipping charges. From Mr. Gaston Glock’s homeland of Austria comes one of the simplest, yet most advanced pistols in the world, the Steyr M9 chambered in 9mm Parabellum, 9mm Luger, 9x19, call it what you will – The 9mm. The manufacturer is, of course, one of the oldest corporate names there is, and each pistol bears the full Steyr Mannlicher logo on its lower left grip frame. What is distinctive about this M9, more than any other competitor, is its 111 degree grip angle that, combined with its trapezoidal fixed sights, give it greater pointability than anything heretofore marketed. Type is striker fired semi-automatic pistol; construction is steel slide and internal parts with steel rails embedded in a high impact polymer frame. Weight empty is only 27 ounces. Slide finish is what the company calls Mannox, a finish that looks like military parkerized, but is more durable and 99 percent salt resistant. Polymer frame incorporates a Picatinny accessory rail. Barrel is 4 inch with conventional 8 groove rifling, capable of handling any 9mm ammunition. Overall length is 7 inches, from the muzzle to the rear of the grip frame strut; height 5 inches from the bottom of the magazine to the top of the rear sight; 1.10 slide thickness and 1.167 maximum frame thickness. Trigger is a relatively smooth, consistent 7-8 pound range, the same every shot. While the appearance is similar to its Glock neighbor, one improvement is the combination take down lever and internal lock, easier disassembly than the competitor. This pistol comes furnished with a total of two magazines, steel bodied 15 rounders. It comes in its original box which is marked Options A-1, instruction manual and cleaning kit. It has not been fired since it left the factory in Austria; this pistol comes through U.S. Channels because of a failed purchase in the volatile Middle East. Its only alien marking is required by U.S. Law, PW Arms Redmond WA. It is, then, as new as any of its M9A1 siblings marketed by Steyr Mannlicher USA. Serial number range on all our specimens is 042000 – 042400; none of ours are affected by any recall or problems like the Steyr USA specimens with numbers in the 3012000 – 3025000 range have. Photo is representative, but all the Steyrs we have are the same, unfired and unissued. Normal retail pricing on this pistol in our area is upwards of $700.00, if a person can even find one. We’re offering the unissued and unfired M9 in the photos, however, or one of its identical mates from the same batch of pistols, each for only $ 419.00. Not transferable to civilian residents of California, District of Colombia, or Massachusetts. For civilian buyers where 15 round magazines are restricted to Law Enforcement, $30 off but no magazines. 10 round magazines are readily available direct from Steyr Arms dot com. Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
