Here is an excellent reincarnation of the fabled Winchester 1892 Lever Action rifle, the Rossi R92 chambered in .357 Caliber, manufactured in Brazil by Taurus's Rossi holdings and imported by Braztech in Miami. This one is in Stainless Steel, semi-gloss and not terribly different from classic gun metal gray originals; other than that, its only departure from the classic 1892 design is a hammer block safety, mounted unobtrusively on top of the bolt just forward of the hammer. This rifle also has parent company Taurus’s internal hammer lock. Metal is entirely stainless steel. Forend and buttstock are walnut stained Brazilian hardwood, very close to real walnut. Buttplate is stainless steel as well. Barrel is 20 inches long, and capacity is 10 +1 rounds of .357 Magnum or .38 Special ammunition. Weight empty is only 6 pounds, and overall length is a compact 37 inches. Buyer will receive the Rifle in the photo or one of its identical mates.
