Photos show genuine Italian Walnut Oversize Target Grips or Stocks for the venerable Ruger Blackhawk. These were manufactured for Sile by Italian Craftsmen some time during the 1980s. We sold a good many of them back then; and we’ve had the good fortune to find only a few left in an Old Southern Warehouse. These Sile Grips no longer have their original white and yellow boxes, but they are pristine, never installed. There are simply no attractive competitors for these on the market today that we know of. They help diminish felt recoil by spreading out the area on the shooter’s palm where contact occurs; and their checkered semi-thumbrest contour provides a better shooting hold. Most important to us, these attractive grips are period correct for most any Blackhawk or Single Six manufactured since 1974. These grips will Not fit the older style Super Blackhawks with 7 1/2 and 10 inch Barrels and with the square backed, knuckle-popping dragoon style trigger guard. They will only fit Blackhawks, Single Sixes, and Super Blackhawks with the shorter barrels and round trigger guards. Made since 1974. The 1962 Standard Single Six in some of our photos is not for sale, period; not on this listing, not anywhere. But these Siles fit even it fairly well. Please see the attached photos if you aren’t sure which yours is; and please go to Sturm Ruger’s pages to verify your serial number if there’s any chance your revolver is in the 40 years old range. Replacement custom grips are sky high.
