Forend is full steel support serrated corn cob type. Finish is matte blue metal, with matching black polymer stock, forend, safety, bolt, and trigger group. Barrel is heavy 18 1/2 inch, .930 OSD at the Muzzle, .10 wall thickness, and .730 vicinity Cylinder Bore. Sights are welded base steel front, with dovetailed white dot blade; and screw attached steel Novak two dot fixed rear. All 12 and 20 gauge Mossberg receivers are drilled for Weaver #88 or 417 size optics bases or Mossberg 96200 rails for any Picatinny type light or optical device. Chambering is 2 3/4 inch or 3 inch 12 gauge shells interchangeably, with a magazine capacity of 5+1 on 2 3/4 inch, and 4 + 1 on 3 inch. 590 Magazines are open ended, readily accept magazine extensions. Forend is full length steel support serrated corn cob type. Safety is steel and alloy top tang type. Buttstock is Polymer with spring loaded cavities to hold 4 extra shells.
