Here is what Taurus says about this classic PT-92 AFS pistol; no brag, just fact: The fixed sight PT92 9mm pistol is based on the most extensively tested, duty proven, and widely used double action auto loading design in history. It has been refined and enhanced by Taurus to surpass the original. Most notable on the Taurus PT92 AFS is the innovation of a three position frame mounted ambidextrous safety which allows this gun to be carried in classic double action - cocked and locked - mode, as well as functioning as a double action decocking lever. This particular Taurus comes from a decade of service in the Land of Israel with the Mishteret Y’Israel, the Israeli Civilian Police in the Jerusalem District. From its TKA-TOB prefix Serial Number Range, it was manufactured in 1993 or 1994. Importer marking for PW Arms Redmond, WA, is on the left side of the slide beneath Taurus Int. Mfg. marking. Surface detractions are only moderate amounts of holster buffing and edge scouring. We rate this PT92AF Pre-Lock as Very Good, 80 percent vicinity by our estimate; photos, however, ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. Grips are original factory Taurus checkered rosewood with only moderate amounts of scouring and darkening. It is Excellent mechanically; bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright, clean, and excellent. Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges.
