From a collection in nearby Shelby County, Tennessee, where it has been for the past two decades, comes this very attractive Chinese Communist, California Imported semi-auto variant of the world’s most popular rifle. Instead of AK-47, these were marked AK/S, and importer stamp is on the left side of the receiver, GLNIC of Los Angeles, Corporate name from a China-owned and staffed importer, one of whose principals was Chinese Army General Bao Zone. Serial number is 3000 range, very low, so this is most likely a 1986 piece, see chicom47 com. This specimen is a 16 inch barreled variant with the classic shovel nose muzzle. Smooth handled 11 inch spike bayonet is intact and original to this rifle. Construction is entirely blue steel, milled steel barrel, sights, lugs, and gas blocks with stamped steel receiver, cover, gas tube, and under folding stock. Forend and grip are checkered American walnut, reprocessed by our old friends in China. Surface detractions on this GLNIC AK/S are moderate, whitening and a few small white spots on the sides of the receiver, moderate brown freckling on the lower edges of the action cowl, and similar detractions on the sides of the steel folding buttstock. We rate this AK/S as Very Good, since no more than 20 percent of its finish is affected in our estimation. Photos, at any rate, ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. This rifle is excellent mechanically; bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright, clean, and excellent. From this rifle’s condition and from our knowledge of its owner, we estimate it has been fired fewer than 500 rounds. It comes with its original steel 30 shot magazine. We’re offering it for only $ 1039.00. Not transferable to civilian residents of California, Chicago, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York City, or Puerto Rico. Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
