This is a super rare Ruger M77R in 284 Winchester. It is the older tang safety Mark I. After the discontinuation of the old Flat Bolts, Ruger made a limited run of these in 1987 only. The wood has a hand rubbed oil finish done by Al Lind, head of Custom Gun Makers Guild. Jewelled bolt, Timney Trigger set at 1.5 lbs, All steel bottom metal. The bluing is super high luster to match the flawless condition Leupold Vari-X III 3.5-10X40AO scope (1991 discontinued model). It is glass bedded, and with the load I have worked up for it, will shoot sub 1/2 inch groups all day. See the photo of the group. I will include the Forster Dies, 100 fireformed brass, and one box of loaded ammo.
I have several custom rifles that won't group like this gun will. Has a 22 inch hand lapped factory barrel, that shoots a 140 grain nosler accubond at 3075 fps! These are very rare and this gun is absolutely gorgeous. I have put a great deal of time into this project, and it has been totally worth it. You won't find a nicer one anywhere. Well over $2K in setup.
