Built on Remington 700 Stainless Short Action. Barrel length is 20 inches and has 1:12 twist, Shilen trigger, Jarrett Gray finish on metal, Jarrett Varmint stock in Gray Ghost. Includes Talley one inch detachable rings in matching Gray finish, Jarrett sling, 65 rounds of Jarrett custom ammo loaded with 85gr Sierra Spitzers and 15 once fired cases. Jarrett calls the .243 AI one of his top 5 favorite cartridges and the ultimate dual purpose deer and hog load. He says it works best in a 20 inch barrel with 1:12 twist, which is how this gun is set up. Rifle is one year old and has only had 15 rounds down the barrel, other than what Jarrett shot for load development. Includes original work order, test targets and load information. Rifle does have original owner's name engraved on floorplate, which Jarrett can remove for $60. Replacement cost of the rifle is $5380, plus $165 for the rings, $195 for the custom ammo and the original cost of the action, over $6000 to replace. Scope not included.
