The Barrel is equipped with CVA's trademark high visibility Fiber Optic Sights, and this rifle's exclusive retail owner has trickd it out ith a Weaver type base and rings that support a 3x9, 32mm Simmons Variable Scope see-thru style. Hammer comes with its integral right-hand spur appendage, and the action is sufficiently smooth on this rifle that it can be easily cocked in absolute silence. Pitch of the Monte Carlo, fiberglass-impregnated graphite based buttstock is such that natural pointing acquires both sight and scope very easily. This rifle, actually the whole setup, is excellent throughout. The only surface detractions are a faint amount of whitening from case contact on the muzzle edges and on the front edges of the scope. Bore, chamber, and mechanism are bright, clean, and excellent throughout. This rifle, as it sits, weighs in at just a bit over 9 pounds, and it is a well-balanced and pleasant shooting 9 pounds.
