Serial number prefix is 05, so this specimen was manufactured in 1995. Its only surface detractions are minimal, a few tiny superficial scours here and there on the uttstock, minimal cartridge contact whitening on the loading gate, and faint operation buffing to the bolt surface and hammer face. We rate this 336C as Excellent, since no more than 5 percent of its surfaces are affected by any kind of handling contact. It is Excellent mechanically, and from its condition and our knowledge of its Georgian owner, it has been fired no more than 20 times. We do not believe it has ever been scoped.
