Lightweight and very compact, these stocks are great for hiking, backpacking, guiding, or compact storage. When folded, they cut 12 inches off the total length of the rifle. The folding stocks are very ridged when extended and insure a stable shooting platform. The housing and arms are cast out of a high quality steel. The cast arms are molded with nylon polymer and fitted with a recoil absorbing rubber butt pad. The springs, housing, arms, and stocks are 100% made and assembled in the USA. The stock is listed as used because it was placed on a rifle (drop-in fit – no custom work required) but the rifle was never fired while in this stock. The stock is in as New condition.
