This is the all-time favorite, the old Daddy of quality, affordable, accurate .22 Pistols, the Ruger MKIII512. It needs no explanation or introduction. It will outshoot most .22 rifles. Manufacturer is Sturm, Ruger & Company, Southport, CT, plant. Construction is steel, with alloy trigger, rear sight housing, and scope base; and with black polymer grip panels. Type is blowback action, single action semi automatic rimfire pistol that fires with an internal hammer. Chambering is .22 Long Rifle caliber, for high velocity ammunition. Barrel is 5 1/2 inch heavy barrel, .880 outside diameter, with 6 groove right hand 1:16 rifling. Sights are ramp type partridge screw on front, and micro type windage and elevation adjustable rear with black blade insert. The Mark III is also drilled for a 3 screw Weaver or Picatinny type scope base, with five slots. Trigger is .350 serrated face, chrome plated alloy; two stage with 3/8 inch of travel. Photo specimen pulled at 4 3/4 pounds, with moderate felt creep and overtravel. Safety and magazine release are on the left side, for right handed shooters, and not reversible. Ruger’s safety lock is key operated, right beneath the safety. We do NOT have the keys for this pistol. Magazine is original steel bodied factory Ruger, 10 rounds apiece of .22 LR caliber ammunition. This pistol came to us with one magazine, but we usually have extras for sale. The Mark III can be disassembled and reassembled, but not with ease, and unless a person is careful to follow the instruction manual, he or she can damage internal parts to this pistol. Weight empty is 42 ounces, with center of gravity at the trigger. This Ruger comes to us from its exclusive local West Tennessee owner. From its 0 range serial number, it was manufactured in January of 2007. Surface detractions are minimal to negligible, only bolt operation buffing and one or two hints of edge wear on the frame. We rate it as Excellent, 95 percent vicinity by our estimate, but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. Bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright and clean. We estimate it has been fired fewer than 500 times. Replacement pricing on this pistol in our area is well over $400. We’re offering the MK512 Ruger in the photos, however, for only $ 319.00.

Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
