Description: HG1800 This old revolver is not sold for shooting purposes, so we will not accept returns on it. From this old .38 Military & Police’s 80000 range serial number, it was manufactured in 1907. It comes to us from an Oklahoma Estate via one of our Okie Traders. This revolver reputedly belonged to a lawman, but we have no records or documents to that effect. With its five screw configuration, five inch barrel, doubled doweled ejector star, and U.S. Service Ctg’s marking on the left side of its barrel, we identify it as a Second Change variant of the Model of 1905, the direct ancestor to all K and L frame Smith & Wesson Revolvers. This specimen has been bead blasted down to its gray metal, but with some rust appearing forward of the trigger guard. Residual surface pitting is extensive, as the photos show. We rate this M&P as only fair / refinish, since about 30 percent of its surfaces show light to moderate pitting. Mechanical condition is similar: bore and cylinder chambers are affected by very light pitting. Timing, action and lockup are quite good, but there is about 3mm of lateral play to the cylinder, and that part has pronounced endshake. Note that the grips are good, no cracks, and they appear to be original. This old revolver would probably fire, but we certainly recommend against anything other than blank loads, perhaps for use in historical reenactment or as a starter revolver. We’re offering this 104 Year Old Smith & Wesson for only $ 179.00. Not transferable to non-dealer civilians in Massachusetts. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> $10 lower 48; $30 Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico, USPS Priority Mail, insured with Delivery Confirmation. Offers to buy must be for the registered user with his/her own money. Don’t let your buddies use your account, that smells like felony straw purchase. MC/Visa/Discover/USPS MO paid orders shipped same day. 7 day hold on checks. FFL transmissions ok by fax, e-mail or mail, please ask your dealer to put your name on there. NO RETURNS ON THIS PARTICULAR REVOLVER. No Returns on New in Box guns or on Lay-aways or ammo. We do not pay transfer fees or return shipping. Shipping Notes: $10 lower 48; $30 AK, HI, PR, USPS Priority. 7 day money back on used items, but No Returns on NIB, Lay-away, or Ammo. Lay-away OK, 20% down, 90 days to pay. We Buy, Sell, or Trade; we always have.
Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
